About me
I graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) with Honours (Class 1), Bachelor of Business Administration, and completed the Chartered Accountants (CA) program.
After graduating from my accounting degree I worked for five years in large accounting firms whilst completing the Chartered Accounting program. After this I decided that I wanted to undertake further accounting studies, so commenced the Honours program and graduated with First Class Honours. It was at this stage of my life that I was fortunate enough to be offered a lecturing position in one of Sydney’s leading universities, teaching accounting. During this time I taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd year accounting students various accounting subjects, one of which involved teaching 2nd year students how to use MYOB and QuickBooks accounting software.
After the birth of my second child, I decided that I would not return to full-time work. Working in chartered accounting I had dealings with bookkeepers on a daily basis, and I know what makes a good bookkeeper. For this reason, I have chosen to use my accounting background to focus on bookkeeping for my clients.
How I work
My premises are based in the Northern Beaches of Sydney. I will collect your work from your premises and return them to you on completion, or alternatively you can post your paperwork to me for processing.
You will be charged an hourly rate, depending on the services provided.
